JT doesn't stand up well even against someone who is opening more the his share, particularly if he's doing it from EP. Position is at least partially negated by the fact he's better then you.
But obviously we have very different approaches to the game. I know you like to see a ton of flops. I'm not saying it's awful, but it certainly is treacherous. At any rate, this derails the thread and the very interesting and tough postflop action. |

I was hoping the SB and BB would still come in the pot. I felt I could win a big pot if I hit my straight. If he has AK, AQ, AA, KK , QQ, and we both hit our hands with deep stacks, I think its clearly worth it. Some people might fold this preflop, but my style is loose early on, especially with deep stacks. Although Andy is very good, I am an unknown to him early on in the event and I know most pros play cautious at this stage. |
