SSHE in AC?
How high can I safely go with a good knowledge of the techniques in SSHE on a saturday night? Is 5/10 out of the question?

Re: SSHE in AC?
I've found the concepts in SSHE tailor made for 4-8, 5-10, and pink chip games in AC.

Re: SSHE in AC?
Glib answer: If you really understand the concepts of SSHE, then you can evaluate how well any given game conforms to its recommendations.
I haven't played much LHE in AC, certainly not mid-limits, but I'm under the impression that there are occasional games like SSHE as high as $20/40 or higher. Maybe I'm wrong, since I don't play them. I would expect anything up to the pink chip game to be predictively loose, though perhaps more aggressive than classic SSHE. |

What is the pink chip game? I'm not sure I've run across that.

What is the pink chip game? I'm not sure I've run across that. [/ QUOTE ] The game was very popular at the Tropicanna before the No Limit boom hit. The Taj Mahal spreads the game during ATLARGE. The game gets played with pink 2.50 black jack chips. The game has a $7.50-15.00 limit structure. The game used to have a lot of action because of the chips. It would not be uncommon to see action capped preflop 5 6 even 7 ways. The game has died down but the memory lingers on. |

Re: SSHE in AC?
The concepts apply fairly well to limits at the pink chip and below. Never played higher so can't speak to it. Each individual game is different though. Sometimes a 4/8 game has 7 players preflop and sometimes 3. Same with the rest. If you only have "knowledge" of SSHE and no experience you might want to stick to 3/6. The higher you go, the more aggressive the players are in general. Although a late night 2/4 game can sometimes be filled with maniacs (drunks).
