Bad Play or Bad Luck

5/10 blind game at a local Indian Casino. Descent players... but obviously a local crowd that is playing pretty ABC poker with some guys getting out of line with some big money bluffs. It's obvious these washed up golfers don't particularly care about the money and don't know that much about poker.

Realative stacks are around $2,500.00 per player. I have a lose aggressive image solely because I don't have much grey hair and I don't know WTF a handicap is [golf]. I've been about even and/or taking $1,000 per session off the table for the last week or so.


Hand #1 -

3 limpers... I make it $100 to go with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Two callers (BB and UTG).

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check, Check, I bet $200

BB drops, UTG thinks forever and calls

Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Check, I bet $500...

UTG thinks for 2-3 minutes and calls

River: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG goes all in for $800 [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I thought for a long time... maybe he had 9 / 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and got there on the gut-shot... but I can't think of a hand where he would have a 6.

Hand #2-

Guy getting ready to take his SB has just lost a big pot, pulls out $5K and says... "Now we are going to play, watch out guys"...

Folded to me on the Button I raise to $60 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB insta calls, BB drops.

Flop: 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I make it $150, SB calls.

Turn 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB bets $500, I think about moving at the pot... but elect to just call.

River Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB bets $1,000 I fold.


Hand #3

Tricky player under the gun with about $10K. One Asian guy behind be who is fairly tight upfront but values his hand WAY to much post flop. I've already seen him call down a few times with TP weak kicker.

Tricky player makes it $80 UTG... I call with AK off... 3 callers behind me.

Flop is A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

UTG checks, I check, Asian behind me bets $150. Fold around to me, I smooth call.

Turn is 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check, Asian bets $400, I raise to $1,200

Asian moves in for about $1,000 more.

I Call.

Thoughts please on my turn play??? Recently I have been giving up a lot of value and/or losing big pots because of my turn play... Please help.

I thought about that... but this guy was kind of pissed at me for moving him off a hand earlier (he had KK... I bet strong on an Ace high board and he folded... it REALLY pissed him off). Therefore, I thought with a big draw like A6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or 9-10[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] he would have CR'ed me on the flop or turn to try to return the favor...

Obviously... I was totally lost on this hand.
