They used to just yank out the tonsils given any kind of excuse, I don't think they do that any more, somebody must have decided that they are not a completely disposable body part.

I have felt like crap ever since I was 12 so I'm blaming the lack of tonsils and adenoids. If only I had been able to hang onto them, I'd be a complete human dynamo, and not merely the sexual tyrannosaurus I am today. Who do I sue?

Also, I know this pales in comparison to choking on your throat and thinking you have a tumor, but I had to go cold turkey from nasal spray this week. 3 months of constant afrin use gets you deeply hooked on the stuff, once discontinued your entire face blows up like a muffin. It's an actual medical condition known as Rebound Congestion. It sucks. I have spent the past 3 days mouth breathing, it's just starting to loosen up this afternoon.
