I never understood those min bets people like to throw out, what do they usually entail? I think they want you to think they are on a draw, but have a hand.

UTG+1 is repping something huge here, probably JJ+. At worst it's AKcc, and that's not often. Easy fold.

Does anyone fold pp 9's on the CO with that much action preflop, eventhough the 3bet is weak as hell?. I guess I would fold.

The way it was played: I would call his mini-bet, and take the free card, and re-evaluate the turn. If you felt he was weak and chasing a card and that is why you raised, why not raise to $10? and call his ai, once you are pot commited.

I think preflop is a very easy fold.

Having an UTG-raiser to act again behind you is sick.

As played, he is short, but every frickin time i see this minbet-huge raise, it's always a monster, so probaly fold.

Are you really folding pf here??
I didn't want to pot commite myslef here, just bet 5$ to kick out like AK hands and fold to a shove 'cos prob. I'm way behind, but hitting 9 on flop would give me a shot to stack somebody so don't understand folding 99 here, esp. when sitting with weak passive players who don't 3bet properly pf, just took a shot to hit my set imo! In hand I folded...

This is such a bad place to raise on the flop multiway. Just call and try to hit your set, what are you beating?

This is one of those rare spots where you can and should draw to a set.
Preflop is an easy call IMO, ok so some of the time utg will push us out with his AA/KK but the chance to win a huge pot when we set up is well worth it.

I disagree pre-flop. UTG is plenty deep to call the additional $1.5 for set value. The pot is offering you 2-1 immeditate odds and UTG is likely to call behind given the odds we offer him. If UTG were to come over the top, then it's time to cut the cord.

Post flop we're behind most of the time. All those min-bets are very often big hands misplayed. I'd even consider raising a little less on the flop. This seems like the kind of guy that would come over the top for $2.00 and let you get away from the hand super cheap.
