used to play 10
now I play 6

I think I play 6 just as well as I would play 3, or 1, or even better since I don't get bored.

If I play 8+ my game starts to suffer however

I usually play 4 and feel I can keep up with reads pretty good.

during prime time on stars i play 8+ tables b/c game selection is very easy and the games are so beatable at those times i just try to cram in tons of hands. During no prime time hours i play 6 b/c i like having reads and being able to table select better.

4 if I'm auto-piloting, 6 if I'm really focused. I usually can't keep up 6-tabling for more than an hour or so.

My PT, since October 06' (with 6max 5-6 handed games filter checked off) gives me a 6.67 MT ratio.

I regularly play 6-8, and sometimes even 10 for like an hour at times during peak hours of the week. I don't think its optimal though, i believe its a leak.

I think its best to play less games and focus more, even if that means giving up some hands/hour. Also I think I'll develop faster as a player if I analazye each situation slower, and concentrate on opponents more. That is why I'm going to try to really start to play less tables. If i find myself opening more then 5 I'm going to make a conscious note, to get rid of some fast. I'll look for the worst tables to get the number down.

That being said, although I play 6-8 tables, I'm going to vote for 3-4 tables.

I think 4 is optimal for me if I want to learn and move up as fast as possible.

I used to 6-8 table, but then I rely too much on PAHUD stats and predefined strategy.

I usually like to play 3 or 4. Anything above that and I feel like I'm just kind of going through the motions. I think it's more fun to play fewer tables and try to really pay attention - sometimes I'll only play *gasp* two tables, and try to take notes and stuff like that - I get bored and get prone to playing loose, but I feel like that sort of attention is how I can try to improve my game instead of just grind for profit.
