Since the btn is the preflop raiser your check on the turn is very bad imho. You have the chance to get utg in the hand and let btn raise a wide range. Once flop is checked you must must must bet the turn. You have a set on a drawy board in a small pot ?

bet flop is just fine i think because the fish will often call and maybe villain will raise so the pots gets very big. By checking u allow villain to cb just as it turned out because cbetting against 2 opponents is risky and hell try to avoid it sometimes.

as played i raise the turn to make the pot big and get my money in ahead; i dont think hell fold AK to a simple raise here.

on the river i just bet because hell often take the free showdown with Ax when he would have called a bet.

i dont like the triple check, NL400 is not the limit where u need to be THAT tricky, just play it a bit more straightforward, youll get paid out in most cases anyways
