There is really only one gametheory system that has been published. And that is for: no limit, heads up, very short stack.

http://www.sitandgoplanet.com/satell...GE_System.html

Game theory as it relates to poker is very complex, for the most part. Granted there are some simple concepts that can easily be taken away: e.g. "never fold the nutts" but these are common sense too.

There isn't realy any other published work with game theory on texas holdem. Researchers often create variations of poker, like rhode island poker, because game theory as relates to texas holdem is so complex. A few bots, e.g. poker academy's spart bot purport to play a psuedo nash equillibrium strategy for limit, heads up, texas holdem - but its algorithms aren't published.

Linked below are some papers that Chris Ferguson and other mathematics academics wrote together. They're highly technical, but they come formally to well accepted axioms such as bluffing with your worst hands as opposed to the best hands you wouldn't bet for value. None of these will apply to MTT Hold'Em too well, but the best most people can do is learn the lessons and then think about when they might be applied.

Give proper credit. Those papers are written by THOMAS Ferguson, not Chris.

Both Tom and Chris are listed as authors of the papers.

They've flip-flop since those papers. Now in the uniform [0,1] games low values are the better hands. In those papers high values were the better hands.
