Villian is pretty new to me, ive only seen him a few times before at the tables. do you vale bet this river, and if so how much?

That's silly.

I don't mind the flop check at all, although I would bet most of the time.

On the river I almost always check behind. I just don't see many hands that he will call with which you have beat. This is especially true now that you are chopping with any 8. So what do you expect him to call and lose with? It's not a spot for a value bet IMO.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. You don't seem to be describing a value bet either (I am honestly not sure what you meant so could be wrong).

Sorry I wasn't more explicit with my question, but this post is only about value betting.
