Default Things that do NOT belong in Corporate Email Signatures...

I have been working with a customer who is trying do a custom implementation of one of our products and is running into all sorts of Network/Firewall problems because of their incompetent IT. Needless to say this has involved quite a few emails...

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this...(hint - its circled in yellow)

I've heard of "separation of church and state", but what about "separation of church and corporation".

one of my best friends did something like this when he quit foot action, but sent it to everybody in the company, i was a LOVE JESUS message, some of the responses were pretty funny...

Thats pretty normal for military signatures, i feel they would be more strict than most corporate ones

the fact that it's a bible verse is largely irrelevant. any quote, any "background" or border - that's not the corporate logo - is jv.

I wanted to put in a Townes Van Zandt quote once - the manager nixed it -

"There are only two kinds of music, the blues and zip-pa-dee-do-dah"

Senior network managers can kinda do what they want though

the saddest thing is I understand totally what that email is saying - PAT = port address translation - - -

I remember researching VPN's with NAT - ay carumba - you really gotta read the vendor notes well

A woman I work with had this in her signature:

"Men are like used cars. Both are easy-to-get, cheap, and unreliable."

She eventually removed it, but not because anyone complained to her directly. An email was sent out banning *anything* that deviated from the department-approved format for signatures.

It's not like she is a fat man-hating pig, either. She's thin, fairly attractive, and has screwed about half of the guys in the office. She obviously has some deep-seeded issues, though.
