Default KQo - AQ3

V: 14.55/8.18/1.38 - 110 hands

0.15/0.30 Fixed-Limit Hold'em <font color="blue">(8 handed)</font>
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.7 by www.pokerstrategy.cc.

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="red">UTG+2 raises</font>, <font color="grey">6 folds</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.47 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="red">UTG+2 bets</font>, <font color="purple"> Hero ??? </font>

<ul type="square">Villian looks TAG.
I have middle pair with good kicker but villian is UTG so his range is probably narrow like TT+, AQo+, KQos.
Yesterday was similar tobic but then was loose passive villigan who donks flop. And there was recomended fold.
Here is probably solid TAG who makes CB ...

What do u think hero should do here ? (If we only use pot odds here than would be fold but im not sure its good way to play this)
b/f flop.

As played raise/fold to 3bet and see if you can improve on turn.

This is terrible!

This is such a standard WA/WB spot IMO

If using OP:s range here,

KQ - You split, 6 combos
AQ - dead with 6 combos
AK - 2 outs with 6 combos
TT, JJ - ahead with 12 combos
QQ, dead with 1 combo
KK, 2 outs with 3 combos

16 cases with few or no outs.
12 cases ahead, with 2 outs for villain.
6 splits

WA/WB?

77+, ATs+, KJs+, AJo+
KJs - ahead, 3 combos
KQs - You split, 2 combos
ATs - 5 outs with 4 combos
AJ - 5 outs with 12 combos
AQ - dead with 6 combos
AK - 2 outs with 6 combos
77-JJ - ahead with 60 combos
QQ, dead with 1 combo
KK, 2 outs with 3 combos

16 cases with few or no outs.
16 cases with 5 outs
63 cases ahead, with 2 outs for villain.
6 splits

Still WA/WB? I don't know if he would bet with all that.

yikes. very bad.

first if the PFR is a known nit (i know a few in my live game) i instafold preflop.

if i played this hand i C/C the whole way. i might fold the river if i know that the PFR wouldnt bet it w/o the ace. at no point would i be doing any betting or raising.

Looks like WA/WB textbook example to me. Either he got 2 outs or I got 2 outs. If he got 2 outs we want to encourage him. If not, we want to loose less.

Sounds like the potential cost to the river would be a good thing to memorize.

We are risking a potential 3BB to win a potential 4.25BB. That provides us with 1.4:1 odds to call to showdown. If he doesn't fire on each street our odds go up.

1.625:1 if he doesn't fire on the river.
2.25:1 if he doesn't fire on the turn.
And the previously mentioned 3.5:1 if he doesn't fire on the flop.

Then there's also implied odds which aren't factored in.
