About to take my first shot at Prima 20NL. For some of you this is a **** easy limit but it is quite daunting for me and I am sure you were all in my position at some point. Am over-rolled for 20NL, but still don't want to go busto so thinking for taking a 5BI shot and playing two tables only (good idea?).

All suggestions, plus tips on differences between 10NL and 20NL are very welcome (I guess 20NL is like 25NL), and expect to see me on mega tilt when stacks are $20 not $10!!!!!

Thanks

Dont be afraid (even though my last shot didnt went to well) , play your normal game. Use the bet pot script (i am messing up a lot of bet sizes if play higher stakes)
If you are rolled for 20nl and used to play 4 tables play for (the change between 10nl and 20nl isnt so bad)
gl with your shot

In my usual fashion I started over recently with my RB money at NL10 and have been running like a god. Yesterday I reached a nice 30 bi roll for NL50 and decided it is time for a 10 bi shot.

3300 hands and -8bi later I again realize how much I love this game.

3000 hands of nonstop tilt felt much like playing minbet.

yes mainly on stars perhaps 10% of hands on FTP

edit: but in all honesty I got pwned by the fish/maniacs and my own tendency to tilt mainly

Thanks - think I am going to leave it until tomorrow - have been running so hot today that I don't want to ruin it by loosing 5BI at 20NL. Going to datamine all I can in 24hours and give 20NL a shot tomorrow (I hope).

So I'm halfway there. After my horrible run in May and beginning of June I took a month off and got back into the game in late July. Things are going well again and the times of losing stack after stack with sets are but a faint memory.

Mostly NL50 with some NL25 in July and August to get the feel for the game back after the break.
