I think it's better not to bet-3bet in an unraised pot with this kind of hand. Not only did you notice that he came over and 4-betted you (which you should have folded to), his range becomes much narrower when he puts that many chips in after limping.

I disagree. We have 11 outs if he has the straight already, and we have 9 outs against a higher flush draw (assuming he doesn't hit a spade on turn or river), so even against the best hands in his range we have like 35% equity, and that doesn't include the times when he has 2 pair and we have 14 outs.

Folding to a 4-bet would have been terrible. He got a very nice equity against almost everything. This is standard except the 2/5 flop lead, whats up with that?

Best hands? I was mainly referring to a set not 2pr, but yes my eyes glazed over the obvious straight draw.

my hand has 44% equity against a very narrow range of 2pair, straight, set , and nut flush draw

so pushing here i think is best espically since 2 pair may fold if a scare card comes on the turn ...

i think i want to get it all in on this flop ...
