not so much new and interesting stuff imo as just very solid poker. I found them very helpful when I was going through my big downswing and questioning my own play

DD plays a lot like Stox IMO. A little bit loose preflop.

But he doesnt ever FSD raise as far as I know tho. Stox seems to get a boner everytime he does that

hmmm... I wonder if its worth giving DC a try again .. I respect a lot of you guys who are saying "it's gold".

I have CR membership mostly for schneids.. But I canceled my stox membership because I found I was learning very little every time I watcehd a video of his in limit.

Do you think there is unique/ineteresting ideas discussed in DC videos?

[/ QUOTE ]

I was very impressed by how well they speak about their thought processes (DD in particular). I think the biggest advantage of watching their videos is the fact that most are single table. I didnt like it much at first because there is not as many hands to talk about. However, they spend a LOT of time talking about their opponents and how they adjust. There isn't a whole lot of groundbreaking stuff, but for me, it really helped enforce the importance of paying attention when you aren't involved in a hand. I find myself talking my way through hands much more often and thinking about opponents' ranges and styles automatically, before I'm put to a tough decision.

stox is also excellent, but since many of his vids are 2-4 tables, you miss out on more in depth stuff.

As far as groundbreaking I think Schneid's videos have most "wow, I never thought of that" moments for me.

I've held off on a cardrunners account so far because of the hefty sign up fee... I should just bite the bullet and go for it tho...

As this happened I was trying to think of one quad 8 or better hand that I beat. The BBJ is 698K. The winner gets 25% of 80% of it I think.
