Cap the turn. Then call if he bets into you again on the river. If he checks, bet. As played, bet the river, and call the raise.

[ QUOTE ] easy bet. you were ahead the whole time... [/ QUOTE ] How can this ever be an easy bet??? [/ QUOTE ] Why would he 3-bet a straight draw and then check when he hits? That really takes a special kind of "player". So we are way ahead against his adjusted range here. Probably two-pair who now fears the straight as well. Easy value bet imo. |

cap turn bet river
on the turn I would discount sets and straights based on his flop play. his most likely hand is tpgk or a turned 2pair imo we don't even need 66% because we are closing the betting with a cap |

I agree that it's a bet, I just don't think it's soooo easy. Also, I was provoking a little because I find it annoying that people will so often reply to a thread just saying "easy this or that" based solely on the cards in heroes hand without any reasoning at all. |

Alright, thanks dudes. I think capping the turn makes a lot of sense, looking back on the hand. I did bet the turn, and lost to a set of sevens, but there was no reason for me to worry about that on the turn.
