Maybe AC Public Access will broadcast it?

so olivert, did you sign jerry yang and the german and russian as your clients?

[/ QUOTE ]

I doubt it.. these guys would have a much higher profile representation

[/ QUOTE ]

I signed Krause several weeks ago to pursue a 1-year deal with an online poker "school" after I got him the 1-day deal with FullTiltPoker.net at an ESPN TV Final table.

I have a verbal commitment from Yang to retain me to do more work for him and I will need to hammer out a legal document with Yang in the next few weeks.

As for Kravchenko: he wants agents to do everything on a non-exclusive, handshake basis. He is essentially the "J.C. Tran" of Russia when it comes to doing business away from the table.

Mr. Yang, if you sign with this moron, then you are a moron. Be forewarned.

I can understand why ESPN isn't giving this the sort of coverage it got the past 3 years, but I'm surprised they aren't even going to film the final table since like they did prior to 2004.

[/ QUOTE ]

There is no reason for ESPN to pay "rights fees" to buy any more TV poker products besides the WSOP when 1) the online poker "schools" are now willing to put their branded shows on ESPN as "time buys", and 2) 32 hours of original programming from the WSOP are more than enough for ESPN to run over and over again to make money via online poker advertising.

(PokerStars.net has resumed airing TV advertising in the U.S., with Daniel Negreanu being the pitch man.)

Has ESPN ever done a "time buy" show that was sponsored by an online site? Do they have plans to?

The FullTiltPoker.net Pro-Am Equalizer was a "time buy" on ESPN that was produced by Poker PROductions using money from FullTiltPoker.net.

Who's planning on playing in this thing? I live in NJ, I'm definitely in. FWIW, the structure of this tournament is phenomenal. At least it was until my KK ran into AK last year.

I worked on a chess event with ESPN2 in 2003, they paid the production costs and got the rights, we got a couple of ad spots and the show produced for free. HUGE win win, especially because I was told that ESPN has to pay tons of cash just to replay the world's strongest man, which is very sickening.

Wasn't this supposed to be an ABC time buy, before they pulled it and moved it to ESPN?
