Music prop bet (1000 excellent alternative-rock tracks)
I got myself stuck in a bet that I cannot come up with 1000 great alternative-rock songs to load on an Ipod for someone.
OOT's help would be great. I will give $25 and $10 to the top 2 people in this thread who contribute the most to help me out. Can only pay over Stars. I'll put up a poll when I reach 1000 if the clear contributors aren't known. I'll start off with a few that will give an idea of what kind of stuff I need. The more recent, the better. Just go through your playlists and list what is good and fits the bill. Story Of The Year - Until The Day I Die Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc Puddle Of Mudd - Blurry System Of A Down - BYOB POD - Alive Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects Linkin Park - In The End Hinder - Get Stoned Fuel - Hemorrhage Crossfade - Cold Verve Pipe - Freshman Audioslave - Be Yourself Foo Fighters - My Hero Jem - 24 311, Sublime, Killers, Fallout Boy, Live, Goldfinger, Good Charlotte type stuff is welcome.

I generally think most of those suck, but I will toss some artists out:
3 doors down, 30 seconds to mars, the academy is, AFI, alkaline trio, all american rejects, arcade fire, beck, bloc party, brand new, cake, cartel, coldplay, counting crows, creed, damien rice, dave matthews, deathcab for cutie, the fray, gnarls barkley, goo goo dolls, greenday, hellogoodbye, incubus, jack's mannequin, jack johnson, jason mraz, jet, jimmy eat world, john mayer, jimi hendrix, kelly clarkson thats enough for now from me. I'll finish L-Z if you want. Some of these don't really fit altrock but I don't think that really matters.

I dont know enough about good bands in this genre. All the songs I listed were off a CD I stole outta the guys car. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]
I gotta win this bet. If you have a big list of tracks, please post it, or I'd be open to receiving an email of a playlist.

I could do this. I have 6000 tracks on my ipod, 80% of which are this genre. However I cant see $25 being worth all that typing. As you can see from my sad post count,I hate to type. Bump it a little and I can hook you up.
