Those are some wicked spikes. You playing 5/10?

And can you go through your mindset right around hand 14,000 when you drop ten grand?

I was playing 5/10 and 10/20 during the crazy variance and then moved down to 2/4 and 3/6 and had massive downswing. Honestly the 2/4 and 3/6 20 buyin drop or whatever was a lot harder then the big spike at 14k or so. It may help that I have been stuck > 20k on a couple of other occasions.

I was playing Mark Vos heads up at two 5/10 tables and in a 3-handed 10/20 game that was very jacked up. When I lost two huge pots in a row I just remember thinking briefly i should have paid of my car loan with that and then quickly forgot about it when the rush continued on. It was in the middle of a huge heater where I won 23 buyins at 5/10 in like 3000 hands. I was new to the games on FTP then and had a very fishy image and people were playing very badly against me. It was one of the most enjoyable periods of poker I've had.

Last 4 months I have really grown as a poker player through losing and breaking-even. My game has improved, game selecting better, better BR management and so forth. However, there is no doubt it was super fun playing short and deep with a ton of aggro nutjobs who didn't really know me at all but I had datamined hard for lots of cash. Surprise surprise, people who play in games online where five figure swings are common tend to be actually pretty good and pay attention to how you play. Then, when they start smashing your leaks: goodbye win rate.

This hands are from the last 45 days. 13k hands are from PLO25, 3k from PLO50 and 1k from PLO100. Most hands from full tilt and a few from stars. All hands played at 6max tables.

DonCologne - wtf? As if that's a 6-max PLO graph!! That thing is beautiful and about as smooth as a baby's ass. I guess PLO25 would allow you to play a fairly variance free game, but congrats on moving up the stakes and keeping that trend going! Whenever I move up my graph tends to move down the opposite direction...

For a real omaha graph see BavidDenyamine's, rollercoasters are how it's done!

Don't people get banned for posting NL/PL graphs in big bets?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would ban someone for criticising in a graph thread without posting a graph themselves first.
