weird spot.

it looks like he has a big hand because of his minraise on such a draw heavy board. he would surely bet bigger with a set.

it also could be a weak attempt at folding you out.

i would call and proceed with caution

oh yeah. 60BB. shoving is fine. or you could get it in on a blank turn. trouble with shoving is either you are crushed or are flipping, whilst if you get it in on the turn you now crush any draw (assuming it is blank). if a draw hits, so does your equity and you can safely fold (yes, even for 60BB)

Ok Before I go on I'm going to say I check A LOT of flops. It seems to work well to balance hands that I just check/fold after raising pf, and because it seems a good way to keep pots small when I'm not happy with either getting it in or folding.

In this situation its entirely being results oriented though. We do not want to give free cards to KJ/KQ/AQ/AJ/77!/JJ(depending on villian, but mostly discounted). Sometimes playing poker is going to be better than taking the safe route. It isn't even that bad of a flop since a lot of those overcard/draw hands could easily think they have a lot more outs than they actually do. Also because of the 60bb nature of this you don't have to worry about the awesomeness of your opponents implied odds.

I love how people blow anything I say out of proportion. It's like I'm on the 2+2 Truman Show and am part of some big thing that I'm not aware of and people's jobs to make things entertaining is to rile me up.

I said I check the flop 1 out of 4 times for balance on this time of board.

Not half the time, not 3 out of 4 times, not 100% of the time.

From now on I am no longer listing alternatives, I'm just going to go with the 2+2 standard plays because thats all people care about anyway.

You people love picking out sentences instead of quoting the whole post...I said it depends on timing and the board.

If the turn is a 7 and the river is a Queen im pretty sure I'm not calling.

If its blank blank I think I am if its diamond diamond and he leads I'm folding.

I see what you're saying FGators that OP shouldn't bet if he doesn't know how to handle a c/r, still that doesn't mean that betting is incorrect. We should be betting this flop every time and basically never checking it.

OP as played I'd just shove over his min-raise, or 3-bet pot and call a shove.
