I'm never watching T.V. again

So I'm watching my $3,000 50 inch Zenith plasma t.v. when I hear a loud Pop sound and the screen goes blank. I did some research online and several other people had the exact same problem with model and said it takes 1,000 - 1,500 to repair the problem. I got the t.v. 14 months ago so it's past the one year warranty. Obviously I didn't get the extended warranty because everyone knows they are for suckers and I like to gamble. The only way for me to justify this loss is by A.) never watching t.v. again as I can't go back to watching a regular t.v. after watching H.D. on my plasma or B.) withdrawing 2 k from my 10 k bankroll online which was recently boosted by a 28th place in Sunday Million. I caught a two outer with KK against 44 when I resetted T_soprano's 444 early on in the tourney so should I just pretend that money should never have come my way?
