Live 1/2 NL at Mont Bleu in Lake Tahoe
Table is 9 handed. The game has been playing super loose (not so aggressive). Villain in hand is loose-aggressive, smart and tricky.
Hero ($310) Villain (~$500) Other players at the table have stacks between $100 to $250. I'm UTG with black aces. I raise to $11. Villain is in hijack. 7 callers. Flop: Q 7 7 r ($77) Blinds check to me, I bet $29 (probably should be higher, but I didn't want to over inflate the pot). Villain who plays position well calls. Everyone folds. Turn: K board is rainbow ($135) What is my play here? If I bet, what should I bet? Suppose I check-call a half-pot bet, what is my river play if K or Q are on the river? Thanks. |

if u have been at this table for a while, as I am assuming from your reads, raise more than 11 preflop. u dont want 7 callers obv, so why raise an amount that will get u 7 callers.

Re: Live 1/2 NL at Mont Bleu in Lake Tahoe
he plays position well and LAG? I'd say c/rai on this turn. If you check and he checks behind, bet any blankish riv for 2/3 pot. If you check and he checks behind, and K hits riv, still bet 2/3 pot becuz u can never put him on running K's. If Q hits riv, I'd c/c no bigger than a 1/2 pot but, but me more inclined to just c/f. He's LAG and it's life, so people will love to play position and float on u and crap so this isn't an instafold IMO.
