Default Recording the screen / ripping streaming video

I am trying to capture or rip video from MLB.tv and I cannot seem to do it. Using Camtasia or Quick Screen Recorder, I put the box over the streaming video embedded in an MSIE window running WMP, and the result is a black box with no output from both programs.

I tried using WM Recorder, but it can't find the URL, and right-click -> Properties gives a fake URL to a commercial.

How the hell do you capture video from them? I remember I did it once, but no idea how it actually worked. Thanks.

Default Re: Recording the screen / ripping streaming video

If you turn off all hardware acceleration on the video driver (display properties -> Troubleshooting IIRC), that should allow camstudio to capture it. Performance may suffer, however.
