Yeah I got this. Doesn't really seem that interesting.. How much do I have to deposit to get the full $100? $1500??

[/ QUOTE ]
15% up to $100 -> $100 = 15% -> 100% = $667 to get the full amount.

[/ QUOTE ]
Don't forget it's really only a 16x 7.5% $50 bonus after exchange rate robbery and fees.

I've refused to play at Party since June because of their ridiculous exchange rate on Canadian funds. I had written several emails to my VIP host but she couldn't provide with with any justification for the gouging - only that Party offers a competitive rate... yeah, right.

xe.com has the current exchange rate at 1.02645. Party offers 1.0017 which is a huge difference.

If I deposit $600 my account with be credited with $600.99 U.S. using Party's rate. With the correct rate of 1.02645 $600 Canadian should net me $615 which means that someone pockets $14 of my money.

If I immediately withdraw the $600.99 from my account Party will give me $572 using their rate. I'm out $28 on the withdrawal plus the $14 they skimmed off the deposit. So I'm down $42 and I haven't even played a hand. My hundred dollar bonus just became a $58 bonus.

People need to be more aware of this and quit playing at Party. There is no reason for them to continue using U.S. dollars as they don't even allow U.S. players... well, I guess there is one reason to not convert the site to Cdn funds.... greed, baby.

OK, agreed their exchange rate is a little on the high side - not as high as some make it out to be, as you'll be hard pressed to find any site that will charge less than 1.5% vig...but still, they're high.

Unfortunately, changing their currency would hurt Canadians more than it would help them. Unless they changed to the Canadian dollar, but why would they do that??? If they changed, I would think it would be to the Euro, in which case those of you who deposit will still pay exchange vig, and those with US$ eWallets will also be paying exchange vig whereas we don't know.

What I want to know is WTF are Canadians doing playing on Party without an eWallet??? I haven't played the last few bonuses, but that's because they're crappy, NOT because of currency issues. Any time they offer me a good bonus, I'm there!

I really dont understand the fuss about exchange rates.
I deposit with VISA card in USD but my account is in DKK, so the banks exchange rate is used not partys. When I cash out to my VISA card almost the same exchange rate is used depending on whether the dollar has gone up or down in the few days to clear the bonus. Of course now the USD is mostly falling so I might lose a little there.

They usually add 1.5% to central bank rate at my bank. But as the same exchange rate is used both in and out it is only a problem if I lose.

I think you'll find that they add 1.5 on the way in, and deduct 1.5 on the way out. If not, I'd be VERY surprised.
