I'm pretty sure I've made 2 mistakes here (not jamming the flop and not folding turn) though I think the 3 basic scenarios I have in mind would have the same result: all the money going in.
I have played with Villain a few times and he seems pretty solid (PTO stats support this). I am pretty confident Villian has a set. I doubt he is playing NFD this strong.
My reasoning was that if he did have the NFD he might check the turn and I might get to see my safe river straight. If the flush comes of course I'm not sure where I'm at and I may have to check fold with my crappy flush (same problem whether I make the flush on turn or river?). When Villian jams the turn I'm convinced he has top set. I think a while about outs and odds and call. Wrap and FD too pretty to fold...
Was I commited once I called the raise on flop? Should I just jam the flop to make sure to get paid? Should I get away from the hand on the turn? In favor of folding the turn, I have a lot of second best draws and virtually no implied odds for a river bet since I only have $5 left (if I wiff do I save my last $5 with a pair of tens in an $80 pot? He has at least 2 pair if he thinks I have AAxx for some reason).
Someone just tell me I played it OK and to stop over thinking it...

You're up against JJ most likely. And he could very well have a (higher) flush draw or a straight draw to go with it.
I don't like the flop call. Either 3-bet max or fold. I'd say fold. You only have one strong draw and one weak draw.
You'll only be 100 % good if you hit your straight. And avoid a flush, paired board

Cliff notes: Fold to reraise on flop. Your hand isn't strong enough to continue.

As played, fold turn. You're roadkill in this spot.

i agree with above. your draws here arent strong enough to commit this much money with. As said above your only 100% good if you hit your straight, and even if that does happen on the turn your opponent will always have many re-draws, either with a hand like 2 pair and bigger flush draw/sets...

You are a favourite if he has top set without other draws. The worst scenario is he has top set with NFD, then you only have 32% equity.

Jam the flop, you're OOP and beating a lot. As played, just lead the turn for the full pot and call all-in.

i think its a big mistake to peg villan on JJxx here, and for that reason i usually jam the pot on the flop, as he can just as likely have another set or 2 pair that he's willing to let go with excessive action.

You can never be a winning PLO player if you are always worried about top set or TTP w/NFD in these spots

The better the opponent I'm up against, the more likely I am to 3-bet the flop, but against typical passive low-limit players, I don't think there's any point. They're going to have a made hand the vast majority of the time and they're never folding to a reraise, so you might as well save some money when the board pairs.

Obviously, folding at any point is ridiculous though and the nits who suggested it should learn how to play SnGs or something.
