And this is precisely why I check/call this flop.

However, if you bet, you have to call sometimes. Randomly call like 1/3 of the time or something.

I agree with Soah and think he has AK almost all of the time. It fits exactly how this hand was played. I don't think there is anything wrong with calling AK in position preflop, then when you repop it from the small blind he still has position on you so decides to take a flop. There is a small chance he got stubborn with TJ d or AQ d, but it looks to me like AK the majority of the time.

I think you can let this go fairly easily.
