Default Stars $20 Rebuy: Pocket 9\'s facing overshove

Villain is a complete unknown, just moved to my table. We're in the money, final 3 tables. What is your thought process here?

Villain's Range is pretty wide given his stack size. Could be a big A, weak A soooted, or any pocket pairs except AA/KK.

Without a specific read, I probably fold.

I would put villain on a hand like AJ-AK or pk pairs 5-8. Usually people do this with hands that are difficult to play postflop if they miss. I would call this to put yourself in position to bully the final table bubble

if his range is wide, why do you want to fold? against the range you gave, we're 60% to win.

op, i'm assuming everyone folded to you after his shove? i'd reshove to isolate against the blinds since they'll tighten up their range a bit and you can be heads up against the short stack. with the overlay from the blinds and antes, you need 45.6% for it to breakeven, and i really doubt that an unkown 22r villain is shoving 12bb tight enough for you to fold 99. the fact that's he's utg+1 has a bit of merit, but i still think that this is pretty easy iso shove.
