Default merge range vs loose passive?

my friend is 57/20, 27wtsd, 1.5AF and a big station as well as very loose. he has a psb left on river. do i shove so that he sometimes folds out chops and sometimes calls worse? or do i check because he might have Axdd or Ax more frequently.

he instacalled turn so id be inclined to think its weighted against Ax.

i would bet QT always, and JT most of the time, and this almost never

sucks you arent oop so you can check adn call the river

edit: i think a bet is a bluff if it's a shove. i don't mind betting 45 though.

given stats i think i would just check behind. I think a shove folds out tens a very small % of the time, and not enough to make up for when he has Axdd.

If you thought he would not c/r as a bluff ever I could see betting like a really small amt to get some 9's to call

I like a bet, because you are likely splitting, a very small percentage of time he has Axdd, and the times when he'll call with 9x, 44-88 far outweighs those times he has Axdd. I'd probably bet 300, just because I like betting around 3/4 pot.

id actually be quite concerned with Ax. he may have more Ax here than 9x and pairs below, let alone the hands he calls with (and as aejones said, he's never folding worse so). There's no way to balance all the times you are bad when you bet with the times are you good, here.
