i heard about this right after the main event that year and this is the first i've heard since. took a while for everything to come out.

here's what i read in another article

"Half of the $2.5 million forfeited would go to the San Antonio Police Department while the other stays in the DA’s office for salaries, equipment and other law enforcement purpose".

is that even legal , it seems like he got jacked by the prosecutors nd police dept...(also isnt that legal bribery) srsly wtf

This is nothing, he's worth 10x that amount. One of Texas largest bookmakers, allegedly.

Pics of daughters please!. Didn't this break right after the wsop last year? He's now just giving up the money?
