Default vegas sucks?

so from the end of 2006 to now i almost put an end to my gamboool because quite frankly, it was a pretty damn expensive habit. sure, a couple visits to the dark side here and there but nothing real serious. so i am in the middle of my vegas trip right now with almost a full week ahead of me. in the first couple nights i go on the sickest blackjack heater of my life. i literally could not lose and was up $75k-ish in 3 days, including one hand where i made a $3,500 bet, had to split twice and double down twice for a total of $17,500 which i won and scooped up a $35k blackjack pot, my biggest ever and life was good.

one note about the bellagio poker room is that it is jammed ass packed every single time i want to play so i am forced to go play these table games while i wait. at first it was okay since i was winning but now every time i sit at a table game it is poison i just can't win anything and am now stuck 20k-ish for the trip. d'oh! after nearly a full year of not making any kind of wager over $100, my average bet for this trip has got to be like $500 and at the bellagio i am almost sure it is over $800.

on a side note, i am playing pretty damn good poker imo and am up a modest amount for the hours i've put in. but it is difficult to sit still at a poker table trying to make your hourly when you just went monkey tilt at casino war.

so a rough breakdown would probably go something like this:
poker: +6k
blackjack: +8k? (high point was +$75k)
craps: -5k?
casino war: -18k?
roulette: -5k?
wpt holdem bonus game: -4k?
buying pieces of action of 2p2ers: -3k

another side note:
i played at the wynn for not very long one night and dumped off 8k at blackjack and got a guy who i assumed was a host talk to me and he gave me his card. i know this is an invitation for me to go for some comps but how do i go about this?

conversely i have gone full blown bananas at the bellagio the past couple days dumping off metric shittons, yet have not had any host introduce himself to me. i feel like i shouldn't have to go out of my way to talk to the casino host after the fireworks i've displayed at the tables, yet i get the impression they don't really care that much about my business. how should i go about this? what kind of stuff can/should i request?

i am here until sunday though, so things still may turn around for me. though to be perfectly honest if i can stay at -20k AND get my hands on an iPhone i will be okay.

It's not about how much you win it's about how little you lose.

Seriously poor money management but good story.

btw - the host thing is more just if someone happens to be around - if you want one just ask. i blew it up at wynn a few weeks back and got big suite paid for - our action is prob similar so i'd imagine you can get same. man - too bad our paths didn't cross - vegas might have imploded.

I'd stick to poker and blackjack... (Your ahead)

Try the Venetian poker room if the Bellagio isn't up to your standards...

You truly are an Asian American Hero.

Tell us some good war stories in which you get dealt a King and the dealer flips over an Ace.
