The strangest thing at Borgata is that 10/20 LHE is time-charged, but 10/20 Stud/Omaha is raked.

[/ QUOTE ]

You have no idea how much the S/O players whined when the Taj tried to time charge them.

the game I've played alot in Michigan is 1-2 NL and the drop is 6/HH, as you can imagine if you buy in for 100 or so this drop alone can start to hurt you, luckily most of the players are terrible so it isn't hard to make up for it, but it defiantly hurts that every 2 hours you play you are donating a quarter of you buy in to the house.

Um, some of you guys are getting your lingo mixed up.
Rake is money taken as a percentage of the pot.
Drop is money taken at the beginning of the hand.
Time is money taken from individuals periodically.
Time pot is money taken from a pot to cover everyone's time charge.

I'm being a nit, sure, but trips are not sets, open-enders are not double-bellies, and unless you have two gapped cards that flopped a straight, you didn't flop the joint.
