Commerce uses $5 chips. So standard turn bet is 8 chips.

300BB is not enough for BR?

From what I saw, $2-4K can be zapped in a couple of bad sessions. Am I mistaken?

Depends how laggy the game plays, but I always prefer to be overrolled for the limits I play. I think 12k is ok as long as you're willing to move down to the 9 if you lose half of it (just to be on the safe side).

For one, $18 x 300 = $5.4k, so you can take some big hits and still be rolled for the next lower limit. For another, there are some pretty easy adjustments you can make that will cut down your variance without destroying your winrate. Also, your winrate should be much higher than the traditional 300 number assumes. If I recall correctly, bankroll requirements vary inversely exponentially as winrate.

Anyway, I've played on a much shorter roll.
