ROI and rakeback
Should rakeback be included in the ROI calculation?
It seems pretty logical to subtract the rakeback from the fee, when you do the calculation. But i haven't seen it in any of the examples i have found. |

Re: ROI and rakeback
Since ROI includes the rake you pay, you should also include rakeback.

Re: ROI and rakeback
Okey, because I have a tiny dilemma.
I'm putting together an excell spreadsheet, and I cant decide if I should include the rakeback percentage from my bonus in the main calculation. With the bonus rakeback included it would show ny true "net win" and ROI, but not my current "net win" since it may take a while before the bonus is payed out. And my current "Net Win" is kind of importent considering BR management. How do you guys do it? |

Re: ROI and rakeback
Your ROI is never gonna tell you your true winrate. I don't even track it at all besides the sharkscope thing, and I'm not even a subscriber there. The only statistic I'm really interested in is $$$ in my account besides the confidence that I'm making the right desicions at the tables.

For instance , if you play in a regular sng with 5% rake , then a reduction of 27% implies that you're paying 5%X73% = 3.65% in rake . |

Should rakeback be included in the ROI calculation? [/ QUOTE ] You can do this when you want to find just how profitable you are. But when you post your ROI on a forum, it is custom to leave rakeback out of it. |
