From the action, it is apparent that either the other guy has a set or brain damage. He's going to not fill a lot more often than he fills, so the river is a clear value bet.

Of course, we then come to learn that the other guy has brain damage....

You played this hand like a total donkey.. With the knowledge that your opponent is the luckiest MOTHER******** on earth, you should slow down after the first raise on 4th.

Betting the river is correct in order to induce the bluff raise.

I agree, but I think Hero may have missed value. Perhaps he should 3 bet to induce the bluff cap?

The river is close to a 3-bet for value, actually. Calling a 4th bet obviously.
