I'd 3 bet the flop here if I was playing the hand like 80% of the time and check raise the turn all in the other 20%

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow, do you have a nutjob image or something? What hands do you find stack off to you here?

[/ QUOTE ]

It must really suck to have your a$$hole shrivel up everytime you bet the flop and get raised and you don't have at least an overpair or a 12+ out super draw.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL...

Parlay,

Villain here (probably) isn't a LAGTAG trying to push us around. It's some generi-donk w/o a full buyin. With no history I don't think it's crazy at all to give his flop raise some credit.

I'd c/f the turn here snow.

I don't know about Parlay, but part of the reason I like to CRAI occasionally is that when he shows up with a monster and you show down KT it does wonders for my table image, especially against that particular villian if we haven't tangled much before, first impressions really do stick with people. From that point on he will think you are a complete maniac and he will give you wayyyy too much action for a good time too come.

The last thing on my mind when I'm playing for stacks (even 80 BB ones) is metagame.

this isn't how people usually bet when they are semibluffing. I find a fold on the turn. Obv. this is without a read.

Why? It's not my only reason for making this play on occasion, but metagame factors into a majority of situations I encounter. Depending upon the opponent it's probably evem more important factor it in when playing for stacks.

also, after calling the turn. I call the river.

that 2 is a pretty good card for you. Since he is either bluffing or had a very strong hand on the flop the only hands that make sense that are very strong now are 33 and 56. And most people don't call 56 preflop (unless its suited, which gets rid of a lot of 56 combos).

So call the river.

I'm not saying fold like a little girl with TP2K. What I'm trying to get at is that if all the money goes in on this flop by us bet/3betting and getting called we are nearly always crushed or flipping. Does JT really call or shove over your 3bet here?

i like this bet-fold turn idea, i'll probably start doing that more. my standard would probably be to vomit and c/f turn.
