its really not that far off. It is very possible david did this to see his cards. If he raises, hes only going to get called by the same hand so what is the point, why not get some info

this makes most sense to me, a misclick is possible too. I don't believe even this game is aggro enough for a 3 bet here to ever be called by less than the nuts.

not being the most athletic of fellows he probably just calculated that the ev of having to click bet pot and then raise was less than that of being able to just click call and eat another spoonful of cheesecake...

also, there is no collusion in HU pots - did you never play on Stars during the softplaying era?
