Re: FutureDoc, Look inside.....[CENSORED] THREAD! [CENSORED] THREAD!
Seriously Fox News is the nuts, in terms of sheer entertainment value it is far better than any other news channel. Obviously you need to take everything they say with a grain of salt, but its not really that much worse than other news stations.

I'm old. Someone delivers a paper to me every morning which has the news written on it. Paper is a thin flexible product made out of wood pulp.

Re: FutureDoc, Look inside.....[CENSORED] THREAD! [CENSORED] THREAD!
This probably makes me sound really irresponsible but I've gotten so sick of hearing about death, taxes, souring economies, weapons of mass destruction, terrorism, bird flu, and every other malady that I stopped watching the news and canceled my newspaper.
I listen to NPR a couple times a week during my commute and that's all the news I get other than NVG. (It's kind of funny that I'm fairly conservative except for social issues yet get me news from socialist radio.) |

Re: FutureDoc, Look inside.....[CENSORED] THREAD! [CENSORED] THREAD!
I'm generally liberal in my political views. But if you gave me a choice of waterboarding or listening to NPR for a couple hours, I would really have to think about it.
NPR is a confluence of 4 or 5 things I cannot stand--talk radio, deliberately muted speech tones, pregnant pauses, ultra-liberal circle-jerking, poetry read by anyone other than the original author, "on-location" reporting from someone I can't even [censored] see... There's more stuff that I can't quite put my finger on. Ugh. Pain. |

Re: FutureDoc, Look inside.....[CENSORED] THREAD! [CENSORED] THREAD!
So for my last 10 sets at least - I've won between $50 and $150 on each one. Every set had a chance for a big breakout that ended in painful AA or dominating A losses. But I'm still up slightly.
Question: does this mean I'm due for a rush, or a whammy? |

I don't think it's fair to semi-complain when you are making 50-150 per set [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] says the little 11s grinder. |

Well the problem is I could easily lose it all in one set.

I guess I just got so sick of listening to the angry, arrogant, hypocritical, self-appointed morality police of morning radio that in comparison listening to a condescending communist somehow became a reasonable alternative. |
