Default full tilt - solution to fix fuzzy fonts

Thanks to the info posted by FTPDoug, here is a way to change the new "fuzzy" Full Tilt fonts back to crisp, easy-to-read fonts.

Create a file named client.ini in the same folder as your FullTiltPoker.exe, usually here:
C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\client.ini

Put the following into the file:
<font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre>
# Font customization file for the FTP client
# ClearType version

# Descending size order, max 32 fonts
# SIZE, NAME, WEIGHT, ITALIC, UNDERLINE

[ScaledTableFont.Normal]
36, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
32, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
28, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
24, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
20, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
18, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
16, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
14, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
12, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
10, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
9, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
8, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
7, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
6, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0

[ScaledTableFont.Bold]
36, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
32, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
28, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
24, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
20, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
18, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
16, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
14, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
12, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
10, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
9, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
8, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
7, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
6, "MS Sans Serif", 0, 0, 0
</pre><hr />

Then restart the FullTilt client.

It's pretty apparent that FTP should just outsource it's entire CS department to 2p2. How long would it have taken a group of 2p2ers to get checks to everyone, program resizable tables, or any of the other problems I see here day after day.

The names and the stack sizes look great, but the bet amounts are cut off when the tables are resized.

Good work regardless.

Here you go:

It might appear a little blurry, but that's only because it's a JPEG.

Thanks, MrPokerToad. This is a pretty decent workaround. There are some issues when you try to make a table smaller (the fonts don't seem to resize smaller or something). Anyway, I really hope FTP makes it so it respects the Windows setting for ClearType fonts being enabled/disabled. :\

Here's what I'm currently trying out...

The only thing I know is that it might not work for nose bleed stakes ballas, where there are bets that are thousands of dollars, those might get slightly chopped. If that applies to you, PM me and I can tell you how to change the file.

I made a new thread here cause I didn't see this one - you can effectively disable ClearType and be able to use any font you want without the blurriness. To make fonts look like they did on the old FTP software, you can change the fonts to "Tahoma" and change the 14 to a 13 in the client.ini - but anyway, click the thread and everything's explained.
