Villain is 100 NL regular and runs at 19/2/.60 and pretty much plays ABC poker, I run at about 13/6/1.7 I cannot see villain making this play 88,99,TT, he also bets any big hands PF, so it's unlikely he has big overpair. My flop raise should Indicate I have at least 2 pair if not set, and yet villain cold calls my flop raise with SB still to act, then raises my turn bet.Only hand I can think villain playing this way is 77 and slimmer chance of 22. I know you should almost never fold a boat, but what am I facing here that I can beat, is this a terrible fold ? |

Re: Folding a boat. 100nl
I don't like this, I would shove here. You say his pf raise is 2? with that pf raise its very possible he has an overpair that he limped pf. I may be alone here but with those stats hes calling pf with QQ-22 and i think youre ahead often enough

Re: Folding a boat. 100nl
He's in the small blind! He could have the other 3 - A3, 43, 53, maybe even 63. As said, overpairs are possible as is 22. In short, should not fold here.
Ooops nevermind about small blind, I misread. Still though 43s,A3,22,overpairs definitely possible. |

Re: Folding a boat. 100nl
You're only behind to 73 and 77. You have to shove here, all day, every time.
Things you might see that you are beating (bold because seems to make sense): A4, 45s/o, 22, A3, A2, A7, any overpair (especially JJ+), etc. |

Re: Folding a boat. 100nl
Probably a bad fold, he won't have 77 often enough - 22, A3s, JJ+, 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] are possible even if only 22 likely.
I think A7, A2, 45o and A4 is stretching it way too far though. |
