Default $10 - help with check/ raise bet amount

$10 18person 4 places pay

I realized after this hand that my C/R bet size was too small. How much should I have bet here? And do I want a call here or not? Thanks-

On the flop I just call. That'd make it easier to call a reasonable size bet on the river, however, there's not a whole lot of hands you're beating here.

I don't know if this is right but I think I would bet around 200 to 250 on the flop. Let me try to calculate if the stacks sizes are right for checking raising. If he bets 300 and the flop pot is 375 thats 675 and you would probably raise to about 800. Your stack is 2565 - 675 - 800 and you have 1090 left over. If you go this route I don't know if it's best to check raise all in on the flop or raise the flop and push turn. I think if you raised on the flop you have to get it all in on the turn. I usally check/call on the flop and then check/fold if he bets out alot on the turn. If he bets alittle I would just call. Check/fold the river if he bets out alot. A blocking bet would probably be bad on the river because you don't have alot of chips left? Actually I don't know what's better on the flop betting or checking?

ok, so now I am more confused I guess. One says to check/raise AI, one just call, one says lead flop?

I am wondering now about just leading out. slimon makes a good case for it, if I am not willing to get it in on the turn I shouldn't be trying this play with this stack size? I am trying to think more about proper bet sizing but not doing a great job of it I guess. I think if any other card than the A had come on the turn, I would have been all in on the turn.

I'd lead the flop 250ish and stop there unimproved. If not, c/c.

This guy has you covered by far and can bluff you of the hand fairly easily as you don't have a monster. You don't want to play big pot and that's what c/r does.

I'd check-call to control the pot size and extract value from bluffs.

A check-raise is too awkward here.

You don't want to push this hand all in, there is little reward and large risk. Especially given the stage of the tournament.

You are out of position, if you bet out and get called not only do you inflate the pot but when a J,K,A hits the board ~40% of the time you will have to give it up.
