Plus he flopped a low draw AND a flush draw AND a straight draw (3 draws ZOMG!) so he can peel one off looking to take the pot away from you on the turn. When the turn comes he knows he has a billion outs and can't fold, but he ALSO knows that if he whiffs, he'll have the nut low and no way to win the pot. Thus he saves his last $1 on the river when he misses and you bet.

This is good, quality fundamental poker that is preached in forums all across 2+2. You can't let opponents run over you, so you must float flops from time to time. This hand beautifully demonstrates another concept: when drawing and your opponent is pot committed, you can choose which street your money goes in on, saving you money when you miss and still getting paid when you hit.
