Default anybody measure their growth rate?

Does anyone measure they rate at which they add size to the major muscle groups?

I've been gaining about 1/2 inch per month on biceps, chest, and shoulders. I wanted to see how this compares to the rest of you.

Additionally, several muscle groups were uneven on the left/right side - i.e. right calf was 1/2 an inch bigger than the left. These have since evened out.

the problem with this is that in the beginning you will see a lot of changes, but after you have been lifting for a while it may get harder and harder to see any changes over such a short period
