fun spot with trips....
reads: shorty is bad, just pushed pf w/ T7s after a limper so not worried about him. Other 2 don't seem v. good open-limping alot seem a bit call-stationy, but very new to table so like 15 hands to go on.
We'll start with the flop: Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $207.20 US (BB): $219.00 UTG: $205.04 MP: $161.45 CO: $189.00 BTN: $50.59 Preflop: US is dealt 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG calls $2.00, MP calls $2.00, CO folds, BTN calls $2.00, SB calls $1.00, US checks Flop: ($10) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">US bets $7.00</font>, UTG calls $7.00, MP calls $7.00, <font color="red">BTN raises to $48.58</font>, SB folds, US?? |

Re: fun spot with trips....
and do what if either utg or mp raise? easy fold, right?
EDIT: why do you think pushing is so bad? I don't think it's terrible given the drawy flop. |

Re: fun spot with trips....
This spot is so marginal its barely profitbale IMO. I fold this and I'm pretty happy with it as well

Re: fun spot with trips....
this doesnt seem to be getting much love. Trivial hand? I have made up my mind about it anyway, but am open to suggestions
ok so i elected to call (which i think is correct, i don't think pushing or folding is bad though), planning to fold to a raise from either utg or mp1 so push or c/f? Clearly c/c sucks and too shallow to b/f Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter) SB: $207.20 US (BB): $219.00 UTG: $205.04 MP: $161.45 CO: $189.00 BTN: $50.59 Preflop: US is dealt 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players) UTG calls $2.00, MP calls $2.00, CO folds, BTN calls $2.00, SB calls $1.00, US checks Flop: ($10) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players) SB checks, <font color="red">US bets $7.00</font>, UTG calls $7.00, MP calls $7.00, <font color="red">BTN raises to $48.58</font>, SB folds, US calls $41.58, UTG folds, MP calls $41.58 Turn: ($162.74) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players) US?? |

Re: fun spot with trips....
if you interpret MP's flop call as a draw or a worse made hand (which i think you're implying-correct me if i'm wrong), then the only reasonable play at this point is to bet.
oh, and FWIW, i don't think your equity on the flop is high enough to justify a call. also, bet closer to pot on the flop: you're giving draws great odds to continue. |
