FTP or Stars check easier?

I want to withdraw about $5k by check. I can do it from either fulltilt or stars. I don't want to have to jump through a lot of hoops or anything so I was wondering which one you guys think is easier/more reliable/better?

I haven't requested a check from stars lately, but i just want to throw in my 2 cents that I requested a check from full tilt about 3 weeks ago and it showed up in a week. I live in LA, however, and it sounds like their checks originate from california so it gets to me especially fast.

takes under a week for me to get money from full tilt ($5K at a time)

Stars is "suppose to" and "usually" takes around 2 weeks, but this last one took 5 weeks due to a "mistake on their end."

did you have to supply a lot of info and ID and stuff. I guess this question makes me sound a little sketchy, but I just dont want to bother scanning documents etc.

they've both taken the same time for me, and I think they're even from the same processor.
