In which I have a tough riv decision after unusual line
Opponent is decent TAG on the tightish side, doesn't seem to be out of line too often, fairly straightforward. I have sort of a normal/good image I think.
I have 77. Seat 2: fanboi ($3,802.50 in chips) Seat 3: derZonk ($5,194.50 in chips) Seat 4: fafa41 ($938 in chips) Seat 6: syntaxeror ($1,940 in chips) Seat 7: TMoose1 ($2,000 in chips) Seat 8: YesIdid83 ($4,544 in chips) Seat 10: -BlackKitty- ($1,803.45 in chips) ANTES/BLINDS syntaxeror posts blind ($10), TMoose1 posts blind ($20). PRE-FLOP YesIdid83 bets $80, -BlackKitty- calls $80, fanboi calls $80, derZonk folds, fafa41 folds, syntaxeror folds, TMoose1 folds. FLOP [board cards 8C,QH,7S ] YesIdid83 bets $225, -BlackKitty- folds, fanboi calls $225. TURN [board cards 8C,QH,7S,4S ] YesIdid83 bets $550, fanboi calls $550. RIVER [board cards 8C,QH,7S,4S,10C ] YesIdid83 checks, fanboi bets $1,000Seat 2: fanboi ($3,802.50 in chips) Seat 3: derZonk ($5,194.50 in chips) Seat 4: fafa41 ($938 in chips) Seat 6: syntaxeror ($1,940 in chips) Seat 7: TMoose1 ($2,000 in chips) Seat 8: YesIdid83 ($4,544 in chips) Seat 10: -BlackKitty- ($1,803.45 in chips) ANTES/BLINDS syntaxeror posts blind ($10), TMoose1 posts blind ($20). [ QUOTE ]
this is totally impossible to read [/ QUOTE ] 7 handed, hero has 77. UTG (tightish decent straightforwardish TAG) raises to 80 with 4.4k behind. UTG+1 calls, I call in UTG +2 with 3800 behind, rest of table folds. Flop is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG bets 225, fold, I call. Turn 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG bets 550, I call. River T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] He checks, I bet 1000 into 1820, he raises all in which is 2k more to me. |

Re: In which I have a tough riv decision after unusual line
what got there? J9 or TT.
I cant see why you wouldnt raise the turn, unless you really feel he'll fire 3 streets since it's gonna be really really hard for you to get it in otherwise. i think i'd just payoff since your line looks like some semi-strong 1 pair hand, and nothing legit really got there. if you had more info on your image, and possibly villains bluffing frequencies that would help, maybe just PAHUD stats? edit: your river bet size is something i probably would never bet. if i ever saw someone do this, i probably would never put them on something as strong as a set, thus would consider a river bluff as i would consider this a 1 pair hand. thus i really don't think its a fold on the river |
