100NL flush draw, stick it in?
Merge Network (6-max). Villain has $91.15, I cover. He has been at the table for a little while, played a decent amount of hands, and likes to bet the flop when checked to. The last two times he has bet the flop in position he has folded to a minraise. I might have a weak table image. A few times I raised I had to fold on the flop.
Preflop I have A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG. I raise to $4, Villain calls right behind me, all else fold. Flop ($9.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I check, he bets $4, I raise to $16, he makes it $48, I stick it in for $71.15. Like the line? I figured he would bet almost any flop, so I would get value out of his nothing hands, and also I might get a decent hand to fold (maybe if he had 99 or a weak king) that would call if I bet out. Once he reraises I have to stick it in, but I'm only a small underdog to a Kx with the flush draw and the overcard, and air has to be a small part of his range since he perhaps could just be tired of getting pushed around. Thoughts on how I played this? |

Re: 100NL flush draw, stick it in?
You have 0 FE once he 3bets, and I think your call is -EV against his range but I'd stove it. b/3b is way better than c/r/4b.

I'd go that route if he was a light raiser. I only knew he was a light bettor.
