Preflop: Hero is UTG with A[[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]], Q[[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]].
[color=Red]Hero raises to t120</font>, [color=Gray]4 folds</font>, BB calls t80.

Flop: (t260) 6[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]], Q[[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]], Q[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] [color=Blue](2 players)</font>
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: (t260) 9[[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]] [color=Blue](2 players)</font>
[color=Red]BB bets t260</font>, Hero calls t260.

I know I should have bet the flop. Does it matter though
on this hand?

Bet the flop for like t160. Bet turn. Puke river.

I would bet the pot on the flop. Maybe you'll trap him for all his chips with a worse Q or a slowplayed KK or AA. If he doesn't have any of those hands, I don't mind taking down a small pot early on.

If he has clubs, at least you're getting the best of it by betting big. Most of the time the flop and turn won't come running clubs.

Also, I don't think checking behind on the flop is THAT bad. If he held 66, Q6, or Q9, slowplaying here allowed you to escape without losing your whole stack.

You played this hand real bad. You need to bet the flop and raise the turn. The river is a fold as played

It's terrible. You can't validate slow playing trips+TK when a flush draw is on the board because villain might have flopped a full house. Worrying about your opponents having freak holdings like that in an STT is awful. You should be happy to go broke on this flop.
