i don't understand what hands the J hits.

couldn't this easy be AJ diamonds?
or a10 diamonds.
10j

there are so many hands here that i think is losing to QQ. A guy playing this many hands' range is a lot more than AA KK JJ.

[ QUOTE ]
I have a showdown won rate of 45% with one pair and lost 2500 with it over 1600 hands, anywhere I HAVE to fold to increase that rate!

[/ QUOTE ]

here is an interesting concept... by folding one pair (you of course have two pair here, but hopefully the audience can follow along) when you are winning, you are actually lowering that rate. *ghasp*

and 1.6k is wrong obv. it has to be 16k
What I wanted to say is: I call too often with one pair on the river.

its not bad to try to fold one pair hands, but the place to do it is in raised (not reraised) pots when the action is very agressive from normally non agressive players and on ugly boards. not overpairs vs douchebags on nice boards.

poker's still out there, just keep on trucking

Would anyone else also agree that this is a clear turn bet? If you bet about 60 on the turn you have a much better idea of where you are at. Given the check on the turn (when the 2 could only help your chances) we dont know if he was slowplaying AA, KK or TT or if he puts you on AK or AQ and is trying to bet you out. A turn bet defines the hand much better.

Well if he pushes you are getting about 3-1 on a call. However, given the only legitimate hand that would push with that we can beat (at that point) is JJ, I think I would probably fold, but I would be much happier about folding with this info than folding with the info you have on the river in the real hand.
