Caesar's IN has a big game on Wednesday and Fridays. It has three blinds and usually a live straddle. It is the biggest game on the boat. They are beginning to spread a capped buyin PLO ($100 min-300 max) with two blinds, $1-2. It is beginning to go a little more often.

Casino Aztar in Evansville, IN spreads a PLO game, I think it is Wednesday and Friday also but I have no details.

Most casinos in Tunica (PLO capitol of the USA). Beau Rivage in Biloxi usually has at least one game during the week and multiple games on the weekend with blinds ranging anywhere from 5-10 to 50-100.

Cherokee Casino in Tulsa, OK. has a 5-10 PLO no cap every thurs-sat... Fantastic game if you have the stomach for it. They also run 1-2 no cap often on weeknights...

Well, it really depends on game texture but when I play I usually sit w/ ~3-6k because the players are so bad and love to get 250bbs in w/ 2 pair and a gutshot... 2,000 is a pretty standard amt tho...

Yeah, generally PLO plays deeper than NLHE. I would say 200bbs would be my average buyin.

But like JP said, it depends on the texture of the game. Also, say you have 400bbs to play with. Do you want to have 4-100bbs buyins or 2-200bbs buyins? Remember, lots of variance. Also, is it standard for the table to "run-it-twice"?

God, I love playing PLO. This thread is making me excited. I might drive to the Beau on Friday afternoon to play a little.

I've been thinking about going on the road weekends to play PLO. There's very little of it here in NYC, and even then we usually play it in rotation with NLHE. I've known about the big games in MISS, but not these 5-10 games, they sound right up my alley.

JP OSU - Do they just run the 5/10 on Saturdays or both the 5/10 and 1/2? Any other tips on these games?

5/10 runs thur, fri., and Sat... 1/2 is kinda hit and miss... Often I'll go up during weeknights and there will be a game but on weekends sometimes there is not a game... Not sure of the rhyme or reason... I think the best course of action is to get there early in the day and start up a list and more people will be inclined to get on it...

Other tips... Just basically pay attention to the game texture... There are some terrible huge fish, which comprise most of the game, but also a handful who will never put any money in w/o the nuts... You will be able to ascertain the difference pretty quickly, making for an extremely profitable game...
