Did you set reserves, or minimum bids, or just go the penny route and let the bidding commence?

It depended on the item. Autographed merchandise usually did better if I started low and let bidding set the price, as did Disneyana. Standard used books were sold at fixed prices. Reserves are a huge turn-off to bidders, I've only used them when selling certain items worth more than $500, and I always stated the reserve in the auction.

Get a sellers permit from your state...then go to a convention like the sema show in vegas. Make a bunch of business cards (you could go on overnightexpress.com and make 1000 for $50) then pass them out!
