History in the Making? This is Chad Brown's seventh cash of the WSOP, putting him only behind Michael Binger this year. Brown has several WSOP final tables to his credit, with two second-place finishes and a third. If he wins, this would be his first bracelet. Erik Seidel is seeking his eighth career bracelet, which would him all alone into fifth place on the all time list, behind Hellmuth, Chan, Brunson, and Moss. [/ QUOTE ] Wow, I didn't realize Seidel had so many. Watch out Phil! |

Re: ** Event 54: $5,000 +rebuys World Champ. NL 2-7 Draw Lowball **
From Pokernews ...
Hand #174 - Erik Seidel Wins Event #54 & His 8th WSOP Bracelet Hand #174 - Chad Brown has the button, he raises to 250,000, and Seidel calls. Seidel draws two cards, and Brown draws one. Seidel bets 250,000, Brown moves all in for 600,000, and Seidel calls. Brown shows 9-7-5-3-2, but Seidel wins the hand -- and the bracelet -- with 8-7-6-5-3. Chad Brown is eliminated in second place, earning $324,777. Erik Seidel wins Event #54 ($5,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball w/Rebuys), earning $538,835, a Corum watch, and his *eighth* WSOP bracelet. Erik Seidel is just the fifth person in history to reach the milestone. |

Martinspoker has both cash games and tournaments for 2-7 but I think most of them are triple draws.
